Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of SOMM Platform, operated by OCZ Company. By using the platform you are deemed to have accepted these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the platform. This English page mirrors the Turkish terms at /kullanim-kosullari.
Service description
SOMM is a SaaS platform developed by OCZ Company that provides in-store sales, quoting, customer service, dealer management and SAP integration for furniture dealers. It is a subscription-based service model.
Account and security
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when opening an account
- Keeping your password confidential and secure is your responsibility
- You are responsible for all actions taken from your account
- You must immediately report any suspicion of unauthorized access
Subscription and billing
- The subscription fee is determined by service level and the number of active stores
- The pricing agreement is signed separately
- Payments are made on monthly or annual cycles
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; service continues until the end of the prepaid period
Prohibited uses
The platform may not be used for the following purposes:
- Illegal activities
- Violation of third-party rights
- Uploading software that could harm the system
- Collecting or reproducing platform data without permission — data access is only via the official API
- Testing system security (unauthorized pentesting)
- Account sharing (additional licenses are required for multiple users)
Intellectual property
All software, design, logos and content on the platform belong to SOMM. A right of use is granted for the subscription period; ownership is not transferred. Customer data belongs entirely to the customer.
Limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is". No liability is accepted in the following cases:
- Commercial losses during downtime (compensation applies within SLA limits)
- Issues arising from third-party integrations (SAP, WhatsApp, banks)
- Data loss resulting from user negligence
- Force majeure (earthquake, flood, war, network outage)
Service level (SLA)
The uptime target and remedy conditions are defined in writing in a separate SLA agreement to be signed with you. Planned maintenance windows are announced in advance.
Changes
These terms may change. Significant changes are announced 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the platform despite notice means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' prior written notice. Upon termination your data is retained for a further 30 days, then permanently deleted. You may export your data during this period.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Turkish law. In case of dispute, the Central Courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
Third-party services & Meta Platform
SOMM integrates with third-party services including Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and SAP. Use of these integrations is also subject to the terms and policies of each respective provider.
- A store may connect its own Instagram Business / Facebook Page account to SOMM to manage customer messages from a unified inbox.
- Meta permissions are used only for the connected store account and solely for customer communication.
- SOMM complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
- The Meta account connection can be removed at any time; for data deletion use [email protected] or the data deletion callback at https://sosyal.somm.com.tr/api/meta/data-deletion.
- SOMM is not liable for outages or changes in third-party services.
